Call the experts at your local Marco Plumbing for any plumbing issues your company or may have. We are proud to provide a wide range of plumbing services including:

  • Back Flow Testing

Commercial properties should be equipped with a back flow valve which, when installed at the main sewer line or drain, can prevent contaminants from entering the clean water supply and can reduce the risk of sewer back up as they are designed to allow water to flow in a single direction (i.e. out).

Regular testing of the Back Flow valve is recommended and often required by City and/Provincial governments or insurance providers to ensure the device is working effectively and will respond, as expected, when needed.

The Marco Plumbing team can provide peace of mind for your regular Back Flow Valve testing protocol by:

    • Remaining up to date on your requirements
    • Taking care of red tape and logistics related to the tests
    • Setting up a convenient test time
    • Completing the detailed test report
    • Submitting the report on your behalf, as required
    • Proving a copy of the test report for your records
    • Automatically scheduling the next annual test
  • High Pressure Drain and Sewer Jetting

Fats, oils, and other debris that will thicken over time, causing blockages, disruptions, or even drain back-ups within your commercial plumbing system. This may lead to hazardous situations or costly repairs and interruptions to business. Marco Plumbing uses a high-pressure water technology called Hydro Jetting coupled with other techniques like snake rooting to clear your pipes, and keep them clean, to reduce the risk of blocks or clogs. This service can be performed as necessary in response to an issue or preemptively as part of your regular maintenance plan.

  • Camera Inspections

In-line inspections using video cameras allow access deep into the pipes to help in determining the cause and location of the problem while also identifying potential challenges or obstructions including: roots, broken tiles, bad mortar connections, inline traps, negative grade sloping, pipe sagging or cracking, offset joints, pipe cracks, and sludge.

Having a plumbing professional conduct a camera inspection of your pipes – whether your building is old or new or if you are planning a renovation or fit-up, or prior to the purchase of a new building – is a proactive step towards good plumbing health and may save time and money for your business in the future.

  • Drain and Sewer Repairs

Using a variety of tried and true methods and techniques, Marco Plumbing offers complete commercial drain and sewer services – from drain clogs to sewer line repair and prevention.

     Drain Snake Rooter

An electric drain snake is used to clear and clean clogged drains. A long, flexible metal cable is led down a drain until the spinning head reaches a clog and clears it. If there is significant blockage (i.e. from a tree root or other significant item) Marco Plumbing uses a commercial-grade drain snake to tackle the problem.

    Excavation/Pipe Replacement

In some cases, the permanent solution to your drain problem may be a complete drain pipe replacement through excavation. Marco Plumbing approaches excavations carefully, ensuring minimal obstruction and interruption. The Marco Plumbing team may also suggest that your situation is better suited to “No-Dig” pipe replacement technology or drain hydro-jetting.

    Hydro Jetting

Snaking or Rootering removes drain blockages, which creates a temporary opening in a pipe. Hydro Jetting uses high-pressure water to scrub away years of accumulated build-up on the inside walls of your pipes. There is no better way, other than replacing them completely, to get your pipes draining as well as the day they were installed.

Marco Plumbing proudly uses Jetting products for hydro jetting services and recommends regularly scheduled hydro jettings as part of your home maintenance practice.

    Trenchless No Dig Technology

Trenchless “No-Dig” technology is a proven, permanent solution that allows you to fix drain pipes, with minimal damage to your property. This technique usually involves the application of a pipe-liner or flexible tube that is pulled into the tube and inflated from within.

City of Toronto Drain Grants, Subsidies and Rebates

The City of Toronto may provide support and subsidies for work that can lower your business’ risk of flood. Contact your local municipality to learn more about the available subsidies – 80% of the invoiced costs up to a maximum of $1,250 including eligible labour, materials, permit and taxes – and contact a plumbing professional like Marco plumbing, licensed by the City of Toronto for an assessment.

  • Full 24/7 Property Plumbing Services

When a plumbing emergency hits your business, you need reliable plumbing professionals who can address your needs quickly, and get you back to business as soon as possible. The Marco Plumbing team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond quickly and minimize the interruption to your business – restoring your peace of mind – and without additional charges for evening, weekend, or holiday service.

  • Frozen Pipe Thawing

Thankfully, frozen pipes are only a seasonal issue. In Canada though, that season can last a long time. Pipes can freeze when they aren’t properly insulated and when temperatures are consistently below zero for a few days or more. If your business is closed on the weekends or overnight, you should consider aggressive and proactive insulation to minimize the risk of freezing during non-operating hours when internal heat and water use will be minimal.

There are several methods that can be used to minimize this risk or help you respond quickly in the event that your pipes do freeze.

    • Where applicable, make sure you’ve properly drained all outside water pipes/hose faucets using their shut off valve to bleed out water remaining in the line.
    • Insulate your pipes and water lines where they might be most vulnerable: in basements, attics, garages, crawl spaces, or other lesser-insulated areas (warehouses, storage areas, indoor parking lots, etc).
    • Wrap towels or call Marco Plumbing professionals to apply pipe insulation.
    • Keep bathroom and kitchen cabinet doors open to allow freer circulation of warn, indoor air.
    • During a deep freeze, run water at a slight, constant trickle at a temperature above zero degrees.
    • If your pipes freeze, turn off the water at the shut off the valve.
    • Turn on the faucet and use a hair dryer to warm your frozen pipes, working back from the drain towards the blockage. Do NOT use an open flame on a frozen pipe.

The Marco Plumbing team can assist with insulation and preparation to help you avoid freezing and has several trucks equipped with technologically advanced pipe thawing units that can un-freeze your frozen pipes quickly and safely.
